In making recommendations to any organization, we consider it critical to identify current economic restraints, market place conventions, if any, and availability of suppliers. Furthermore, we seek to identify future trends that may affect the cost or the acceptability of the benefits.

This means that the your organization should be looking at this exercise as a way of an overall review of your Health Program, or if you currently don't have a plan a look at the options, not just an opportunity to look at quotations which show, what and how much. The most important aspect is to study how costs can be controlled, use and abuse reduced and the critical effect of education and effective communication. With our specialist knowledge in this area, we hope to be given the opportunity to guide your organization in its future deliberations and in the implementation of the recommended programs.

We have used the following criteria to assess the information provided by the underwriters and arrive at the best cost controlled program:

  1. Financial Stability of the Insurance Company.

  2. All round client satisfaction especially in the area of claims handling.

  3. Cost and cost controls.

  4. Ability to offer providers in all the areas where your organization has employees.

  5. Ability to provide monthly statistics and analyze claim trends. The use of a professionally qualified Broker or Consultant on a program of this size, is essential.

There are many options that you need to consider and the job of THE TEAM is to guide you through the intricacies of the insurance market.

Further, should you be looking at Group Health cover, the selection of an underwriter and Broker/Consultant should also be done in the context of a HEALTH MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. Modern management has recognized the link between health education, increased productivity and health scheme cost reductions. There are a number of special program that are available and can be tailored for you and should be integrated with the Health plan. The selected Underwriter/Broker/Consultant must have experience in these program and be prepared to help your organization select the best. We see the moving of a scheme of this size from one underwriter to another as a last resort step. We believe in professional negotiation to ensure that the underwriter, the broker and the client are all in agreement and that the client's needs are anticipated and provide for by proactive broker executives.

Additionally, timely effective information transfer is critical. We design a specific brochures for distribution among covered members. This creates greater understanding and leads to a reduction in misuse. We also track all correspondence that enters and leaves this office to ensure that the same are promptly dealt with by the insurers.

For all our clients we also provide a HEALTH CHRONICLE and a HEALTH FLASH (see below). These are designed to be placed on your notice board and gives your employees valuable information with regard to their health and fitness.
